1 Our Services

AAA Handyman Services provides high-quality home repairs, maintenance, and small-to-mid-size home improvement projects. Our core services include:

This list is representative, not exhaustive, and reflects the minor repair, maintenance, and small-scale improvement work we perform. Please see Section 2 for the scope and licensing limits that apply to all services.

2 Licensing & Scope of Work

AAA Handyman Services specializes in minor home repairs, maintenance, and small-scale improvement projects. We are not a licensed residential builder or general contractor.

• We do not divide larger projects into multiple smaller contracts in order to circumvent licensing requirements. Each project we accept is a genuinely separate undertaking matching our scope of minor repairs.
• Plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work require the appropriate skilled-trade license under Michigan law regardless of price. Our services in these areas are limited to minor tasks that an unlicensed person may lawfully perform; any work requiring a licensed trade is performed or subcontracted by an appropriately licensed contractor.
• Where a project requires a permit or licensed trade, we will let you know before work begins so it can be arranged properly.

3 Rates & Pricing

• We offer highly competitive rates tailored to your specific project needs. Jobs are priced either by the bid (a fixed price for the entire project) or on an hourly basis, ensuring honest, upfront, and transparent pricing with no surprises.
• We provide free quotes. To receive a fast and accurate estimate, we encourage you to contact us with your project details and, if possible, photos of the work area.
• Our rates apply to all active labor and on-site troubleshooting. Materials are not included in the standard labor rate. You may supply them yourself at no markup, or we can source them on your behalf with prior agreement, in which case a standard 10–15% supply markup applies to cover sourcing time, vehicle use, and parts liability.
• Based in Waterford, Michigan, we proudly serve Waterford, Oakland County, and the surrounding areas. Travel is built into a transparent Minimum Service Call based on distance (Zone A within 20 miles, Zone B beyond), so there are never hidden or surprise trip fees.
• After-hours and emergency service is available seven days a week at a higher urgent rate, billed at a premium first hour with continuous labor after. Current figures are listed on our Rates page.
• Alongside hourly and by-the-bid work, we offer flat-rate task pricing, half- and full-day time packages, and seasonal packages. Current pricing for every option is shown on our Rates page.
• Payment is due upon completion of the day's work unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing beforehand.
• We accept Cash, Check, Zelle®, and Venmo®.

4 Scheduling & Cancellations

• We strive to accommodate your preferred schedule.
• You can request service through our online booking form. A submitted request is a request for service, not a confirmed appointment, until we contact you to confirm the date, time, and details.
• 24-hour notice is appreciated for cancellations or rescheduling.
• Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a trip charge equal to the applicable Minimum Service Call.
• After-hours and emergency requests are accommodated seven days a week when a craftsman is available and are billed at the urgent rate described in Section 3.
• Prepaid time packages follow the same notice policy; a missed visit rescheduled with less than 24-hour notice may forfeit the reserved time.

5 Warranty & Liability

Our liability is limited to the cost of the services provided. We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions or damages caused by factors outside our control.

6 Customer Responsibilities

• Provide clear access to the work area.
• Remove personal items and valuables from the work zone.
• Obtain any necessary permits if required (we can assist).
• Ensure the property is safe and free of hazards for our team.

7 Website Use

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt unauthorized access, or use it for any unlawful purpose. All content is owned by AAA Handyman Services.

When you submit a review, rating, or photo, you confirm it reflects your genuine experience and grant AAA Handyman Services permission to publish, display, and lightly edit it for presentation on our website and marketing. Please submit only content you own or have the right to share, and only what you are comfortable making public.

Our website offers an automated chat assistant to help answer common questions. Its responses are provided for general information only, may not always be accurate, and do not form a binding quote or agreement. For anything specific to your project, please confirm directly with us.

8 Privacy

9 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AAA Handyman Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from our services or website use.

10 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any disputes shall be resolved in Oakland County courts.

11 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
